If you like DA/SA it's tough to beat as a carry option. Right size and weight and a good shooter

That looks like something one might prefer to have in hand if they had to defend themself.

It's a very easy gun to shoot. Fits most hands perfectly. May sound stupid but it feels like a 1911 in my hand.

I get that, it's got an extremely comfortable grip. I don't actually like the metal frame CZ compacts at all, the beavertail always seems to be a bit off, but the P07 fits me perfect.

I wish they would make a 10-12 round subcompact too

I carry my CZ P-07 while wearing Slovakian boots. I just keep worrying about another civil war at knee level.

That was my impression last year when I looked at one. The gun felt very sturdy and well built and fit my hand perfectly. It did kind of remind me of how a 1911 felt and the fact that I could convert it to a thumb safety was icing on the cake to me!

Still haven't worked it into the CCW rotation but I'm thinking about it!

It was my first CCW, now my truck gun as I prefer pocket carry. Excellent shooting handgun, excellent choice Michael A.

Can someone explain the difference between the Omega and non Omega trigger? Or am I reading something wrong?
    Any comparable SA/DA pistols?
I like the quality of CZ and looking for a carry 9.

Sometimes this can be true! My P01 doesn't have the Omega trigger and has a fairly decent DA/SA trigger. My P07 has the Omega trigger and has a slightly heavier DA trigger but a very nice SA trigger. So much so that I converted my gun from using the decocker to having the manual safety so I can carry it in Condition One.

I have yet to own a gun with a really lousy trigger. Takes a few hundred rounds to break it in.

IMHO, the P07 feels like a Glock 19, but with a much better trigger, much...

Agreed! To me the CZ P07 feels a lot more ergonomic as well.

Ha, I feel the opposite. The P07 feels much nicer in the hand but I greatly dislike DA/SA compared to Glock triggers.

It is a very, very nice carry gun if you like DA/SA.

I love my P07. FSAR better "feel" and ergos than a 1911.
