Is setting up a SBD in the press any different than a standard RCBS die? Can't find anything on their site or a live body on the phone. Thanks

Nope, the change is internal in the die, set it up the same.

^^^^^ - Yep! Like any die for a bottle neck rifle cartridge, you set up the die to have it place the case shoulder where it should be in relation to the rifle chamber.

    This

Except if you want ammunition to go into multiple guns use a saami case gauge instead of an individual rifle chamber

That's fine till you end up with a rifle with a yet shorter chamber.

Ya know saami puts out these specifications for a reason. If it fits in a gauge it will shoot in ANY rifle of that chambering that's not out of spec.
