Would it be legal to put, say a folding stock on it since it is a registered "AOW" already?

Yes, if you want to do all the paperwork to re-register it with the ATF as a short-barreled shotgun. A SBS can have a pistol grip, but since an AOW is technically a pistol, you can't legally attach a stock without doing some paperwork and paying a new tax.

Mad Max would be so proud. I can't see the usefulness of such a toy, but if it's fun, then go for it. Actually, try to find the rig they used In Lighting Jack for that sawed off double barrel! It would probably look better than that Uncle Mikes reject rig.

That's the beauty of "toys", they don't have to be useful!

I'd like to see a picture of one being fired at twilight just to see how far the fireball comes out of the barrel.
What velocity would you get from 00buck in that short a barrel? Would it take down a BG or just piss him off?

I guess that would have been very handy in the armored trucks I used to work in, if I could get about a 1 inch more of barrel, to clear the gun port.
As in the coolness factor, that would be double awesome in a shoulder rig, but I think I would definately be getting the low recoil ammo!

No. You would need to make or buy a short-barreled shotgun (SBS) instead.

Actually, if it has a very small stock, then the BATFE may not require for you to reregister it, but in the case of the BATFE, I'd take no chances. If you get an AOW shotgun then don't mess with adding a stock at all.

    super shorty shotgun

With that short of barrel, you would lose so much velocity, birdshot would barely peirce the skin.
