Smith and Wesson 3953

Anyone have experience with one of these? I realize its DAO (which is why I'm interested) could someone describe the trigger reset?

The 3913 (DA/SA) has a VERY short trigger reset. Just wondering what the reset is like on a DAO model.

It should be about the same as the regular double action pull on the 3913. I don't believe they make the pull lighter or shorter.

I had to let the trigger return fully forward on the 6946 I had. However, the reach and length of pull on DAO models is shorter to start with than the DA of a TDA.

one the ones i've shot, the reset is all the way out to the starting point.

there is no short reset on a DAO S&W...that's what you give up when you switch from DA/SA
