Smith and Wesson 469 9mm

I recently acquired a S&W 469 9mm from a friend. My friend had the gun for about 3 years, but never shot it. I was attempting to break it down for a cleaning last night and was not able to. My friend did not know to do it either, as he had never used it. Does anyone have any advice?

Try contacting S&W. I believe they will send you an owners manual for free.

Your 469 field strips like the 659 in the referenced post. It takes longer to explain than it does to accomplish.

I was able to successfully disassemble, clean and reassemble the S&W 469.

My 5946 uses the same procedure,-------I use GunScrubber instead.No problem.
