Hi , I have a couple questions about laser sights
Im looking at crimson trace laser for my 637. Two models im looking at are lg-105 and lg-305 My first question , what is "instincive front activation" , second , the 105 has no on/off switch and the 305 does...is this to keep the batteries alive or is it tacticle reason to be able to turn it off ? Thanks.

I'd guess more to keep the batteries fresh when you can't see a red laser in broad daylight at the range.

I have the ones without a switch, and I haven't missed it one bit.

The biggest advantage of the CT grips is they are instinctive to use.

When you grip the gun to shoot it, they come on.
If you don't want it on for some tactical reason, relax your grip slightly and they go off.

I don't need no Steenk'n extra switch to forget it's off when things go bump in the night.

Thanks Rc thats basicly what I was thinking. Simplicity is the reason I went with a revolver in the first place.

These are the 405's on a 340pd. The 405's cover the backstrap but are overall smaller than the 305 series. I have the 305's on a 640. Both great products. They work especially for teaching trigger control. (unloaded using snap caps) of course.
