I have always wanted one. I found one last week at my local indoor range. It is used with a little holster wear, but looks new on the internals! It is a S&W 908 :Dand it also comes with two 8 round mags and the original box, I am so pumped as I have always wanted one. :neener:

I also think I got a sweet deal, they were only asking $299. Normally they are 50-75 dollars more around here. I think this older S&W will be giving my Kahr a run for carry time in the line up!

Who else likes S&W 3rd gen semi-autos?? How and what do you use to CC this pistol??

Congrats. I have a 1006.... it is a beast. One thing it doesn't do is challenge anything for carry time, so... can't help you there; heh. I believe it is very well built though.

I picked it up yesterday:D, and it shot flawless with various ammo. I love the concealability and I find it to be real similar in size as my Kahr Cw 9. It also holds one more round than the CW 9, and I used a Pierce Magazine Pinky extension that is for my Kahr, but worked perfect for the 908 and added 1/2 inch to the grip for my large hands.;)

Well here she is, let me know what you think!

Love this pistol, great for carry.

Brilliant! Congratulations on the new pistol, shoot it like you borrowed it!

The 3rd Gen Smith semi-auto's are great. Congratulations! I have the 908 too. It's my favorite carry gun, conceals very well. Enjoy it!

bdb you done good. Nice gun at a very good price. I picked up a 908 last week also but haven't had an opportunity to fire it yet. Seems like the ideal size for a carry piece.

Never heard a bad thing about those pistols...I had a 915 for years and like a dumb-butt; sold it for no apparent reason.....:banghead:

I have a 5906 that was my first CCW. haha a bit big but a Galco Fletch holster keeps it pretty high and in the winter its pretty easy to conceal. Nothing but reliable and accurate! Your gonna love your little 908.

I've always wanted the 908 for CCW. I have a 410 that I really like. I think the value line of pistols is a good deal. I have a cousin who likes his 457.

I've always wondered why they aren't more popular. I know some folks who don't like the safety/decocker, but I like it on mine.

Congrats on the new purchase! I picked up a 910 last summer and it's a great little gun. Shoots straight, conceals easily in the right holster. Great value if you ask me.
