So how many guns are in your room?

To paraphrase what we said as children many years ago...
That's for me to know, and you (if you are lucky) never to find out. :)

My bump in the night collection, and my wife's bump in the night collection....my collection is a few, hers is a few...So 2 few and too few. ;)

as I type this? three. all revolvers, all loaded.

just one, whatever it was I happened to be carrying that day. Usually the Sig P239 or KelTec P11 in its holster on the night stand.

Red Wind,

You try getting a good night's rest with flying monkeys and little people singing the same song over and over and over and over and...

'Em monkeys are smart and hard to hit.

There are marvelous new Meds available to stop the flying monkeys and the little people singing. Give them a try. ;)

No kids, bachelor, so no "safe".
In the bedroom is a wood & glass gun cabinet that holds 4 rifles, 2 handguns, and a shotgun.
There is also a rack on the wall with a rifle, shotty, and handgun on it.
There are also two handguns "conveniently placed" in two other rooms. ;)

3 handguns
2 long guns

The majority of mine are at my parents' house. Living in the apartment, I didn't want the neighbors to see me making a dozen trips back and forth with both hands full of guns. ;)

Currently in my shop and have two within arms reach (.45 and a Judge), 5 or 6 if I move a little (.38, 9mm, 9x18, .44, .45LC). And my wife worries when I leave the garage door open late at night. I leave the house and they are locked up, otherwise, nearby, loaded and ready for use. An unloaded weapon is either an heirloom, or a tool.

One, a Ruger GP100 that sits on the nightstand.

In the other room 15 feet away are the rest of my guns, with a Winchester model 12 riot gun loaded and at the ready.

I only have 2 in my room I sleep in but I have strategic retreat positions where there are 3 more not far at all from the bedroom. The rest are in my safe along with a lot of my ammo. I started storing the ammo in the safe when the prices started going crazy. I can't fit it all in there of course but a lot of the more expensive stuff is in there.

S&W 469 in the sock drawer, loaded.
AR-15 in the closet, empty chamber with a full mag inserted.
Marlin 336 and SKS in cases also in the closet. Not loaded but ammo close at hand.
Taurus 709 in hall closet, loaded.

That covers the main floor. The rest are on the second floor locked up, except for the single shot 12 gauge stashed in the garage, unloaded.

The only one I had out recently was my S&W Model 686. All of the others have been safely put away.
