I asked a few weeks ago about recommending a pistol for me to buy. I was looking at a P229 (.357 Sig) but was also looking at a Springfield XD. Several people told me to get a .22 for my first gun. After stating it was the first pistol that I would own and have fired others I still had recommendations for .22.
So anyway I got fixated on the XD-M in .40 S&W. Then someone mentioned the XD in .45 ACP. So, after thinking that my dad has a .45 ACP (1911 Style) and we could just share ammunition (we don't shoot all that much).
So I went with the XD-45 ACP. Feels very ergonomic in my hands can't wait to take it out this weekend.
