Yeah - I was pretty happy when they called the number on my ticket to say the least! :D

Despite all the "wonderful" offers - I think I will hold onto it for awhile, unless someone here has a G19 they are looking to get rid of? ;)

As far the buying lotto tickets........Send me the dough and we will split the winnings!
 
Congrats, I had a stroke of luck this past week also. I signed up for a drawing on one of the Auto Detailing sites and won a $250 FLEX buffer. It feels great to get something when you don't expect it. Now about that trade, a buffer for a pistol, tough choice, but O.K. I'll do it. :D

While I am a huge fan of the 1911 platform (see me sig line), I still end up straping on the G series of pistols on the weekend regardless of if I want to or not!

Hence - why I was thinking of getting a G19, so that I could afford to shoot it more and the training would identical to my duty pistol.

We'll see!
 
Yeah, OK, I understand now. There is a U.S. Customs guy that I see come in to shoot at a range here, and he always brings a Beretta 92 to shoot. His duty pistol stays strapped in the holster. I guess you have to carry what they tell you to whether you like it or not.
