I was-a thinkin my little i mean uh big brain out the other day and thought of making something like this-

I thought you could take one of those large, hollow veritcal foregrips and put two small spring loaded legs in it with a push button plunger and a spring between the legs to spread them when the push button plunger is pressed, the spring loaded legs would pop out, the spring between them would spread them, then you would have a small bi-pod inside of your vertical foregrip!
Just an idea. unless of course somebody has already made this. :uhoh:

Good news is that you no longer have to design one to get one.

I have 2 of these. Got them for 24.99 (+tax) each at different times. Just have to be patient and go to the gun show and look around.

Is it classified as a bi-pod, or a VFG? I'm thinking if it's sold as a bi-pod, would make a great addition to PLR-16's, AR pistols, etc.

Hence my query as to whether it's considered a VFG or bi-pod.

And they're not illegal, just NFA regulated.

Don't really care what the seller or manufacturer calls it, just what ATF does
