So the finally made a cap maker for musket caps

I have used musket caps for many years and would use them instead of the number 11 in every case. They are easier to handle and more sure firing. Better than a 209? Maybe not but easier to load in old inline rifles. I use a Hawkens and a TC System 1 and just switched back to the caps from 209. Now a new breach loader? 209 and all the modern things because it is not traditional anyway.

Same guy making the cap maker for #10 and #11s

All 3D printed.

It looks like to me the 3D printed ones are using aluminum foil tape as the source material!
If I could only secure a dirt cheap stock pile of copper flashing. Using beer cans makes caps that function but not like factory ones. I've heard of size two layers of aluminum and have tried it but they are still flimsy. Copper flashing would be the way to go but it's just not cost effective. Didn't read enough apparently. I didn't realize this thing is plastic. The no 11 maker I have is steel

I looked at the video for the 3D made die. I thought that aluminum looked just too wimpy. Maybe the cups you see are all it's going to make before the punch teeth are done for.
I use the cap-maker too. Double wall cups have worked ok for me. Have punched out about 20,000 . Work well in single shots They will fragment in the revolvers unless ringed with air tubing. I have also used Amerimax Versa Aluminum rolls 36 gauge at .008 thick. It's hard but forms ok.Best for the revolvers is 36 gauge .008 brass. Forms well , looks good and will not fragment. Cost is high though . About $2 per hundred with brass. $.70 pr. hundred in the Amerimax aluminum .$.10 for the pop cans. Here's a way to figure cost. You can get four cups in a square inch. That is if you are careful.
