What gun relatd stuff did you buy yourself for Christmas?

Even if I include firearms related items on my "Christmas wish list" my family will seldom choose one of them so if I get anything firearms related in December I have to buy it for myself and I DO NOT feel guilty about it!

Alas, I did not buy myself any firearms. Not enough money this time of year for that! But, I have decided to stop being afraid of it so have ordered the neccesarys for doing some trigger work on my Ruger revolvers - Wolff springs, shims, felt polishing heads, and a big tube of Flitz.

Also ordered a couple of holsters that were in the $50 range so nothing really nice, but will fill a couple of holes in my carry ability

That was all the budget could handle, but this should keep me busy through January and February.

I bought this for myself. My XD Mod 2 carrier.

Today in the mountains at 9100 feet elevation I jumped off the sled to see how deep the snow was. I got snow on my XD Mod 2, which was on my hip.

Yesterday I ordered a Streamlight TLR RM1 for my Beretta CX4. It should be here in a week or so.

There are some decent prices after Christmas on some gun related items right now. Now if there would be some decent prices on guns themselves . . .

I bought myself a few boxes of ammo at pre pandemic prices. I went to a shop that's a little out of the way and found decently stocked ammo shelves. They were out of .380 and. 38spl but had some .22lr, .270 and 9mm, 7mm08 but 1 box per caliber limit. I'm gonna go back with the wife and get a couple more boxes of .270 and 7mm08. I never used to be a "buy a box here and there" kind of guy, always buy in bulk but now if I see a good price I'm buying no matter how little.

I was supposed to get a couple of billet Berretta M92 magazine baseplates too, but theyve been stuck at the local USPS hub since Thursday!

A modest enough haul, but I splurged on everybody else this year. Im pretty happy with what Ive got.
