I don't know about you, but I have always maintained lists of stuff that I needed to buy since I began to earn an income. Even today, 50 years later, I still use clip boards and itemized lists of everything and anything from guns, reloading stuff, black powder gear, hand tools, and other hobby supplies. They keep changing of course, get erased, and get rewritten.

This is the current revolver section of my "Guns To Buy" list.
    What's yours?

    1) Pietta 1851 Colt Navy - (.44 C&B) 7 1/2" bbl., blued, case-hardened, walnut grip, siver-plated grip straps.

    2) Pietta 1873 Colt SAA - (.44-40) 7 1/2" bbl., blued, case hardened, poly ivory grip.

    3) Ruger Blackhawk - (.45 Colt) 5 1/2" bbl., blued, hard rubber grips, aluminum grip frame.

    4) Pietta 1858 Remington Army - (.44 C&B) 5 1/2" bbl., blued, walnut grips.

I've been wanting a colt walker for years. My legs he had one for many years in the glass, one day I'll try to get it.

I just bought a model 66 s&w that I had been wanting for a long time. There is still a void in my billfold and a goofy grin on my face. When those two things get back to normal....
    I'm already thinking about an older 6" s&w 617 .22 revolver.

If, IF....a good deal on a Taurus judge, or s&w Governor arises...I may take it. I load .45colt, .410. I can be patient on this one.

I see good handguns as a fun investment for future generations. They store easily.

I don't know that I have a *gotta have* list. I don't think I've ever actively sought something out for decades.

I would be more comfortable with - for my purposes - *always got my eyes open* list.

    For that:

Perfect Dan Wesson blued pistol packs in .357 & .44

    Perfect, ALL Beretta M1 Garand.

A 20 ga. Citori to pair with my 12 ga.

    S&W ASP & Model 52-2.

Sometimes, they just come my way like this winter a U.S. marked S&W Model 41 that I'd been watching for as well as a Marlin 1895 a 629 and a Woodsman medium barrel Sport.

I don't look but when they pass before me and I'm flush - I strike.

    Todd.

I'd like to find a good deal on a Single Action in 44 Spl. Don't need or want a magnum at this point.
Oh and a set of dies to go with it too.

329 pd airweight in .44 mag. I do alot of hiking, and usually with a hefty load of toddlers on my back. I generally pack a rifle and pistol wherever I go with my children, so the pistol is more or less back up. It might as well be ultra light weight and awfully unpleasant to shoot. Ive also had my eye out for a ruger hawkeye/guide gun in .375 ruger with the hogue stock and express sights.

Right now, probably a S&W Model 64. Maybe a 66 in 357, but I'd have to shoot one first to see what the recoil's like with magnums.

Armscor is also making a 3" 9mm revolver that's coming soon. Can't say I "gotta have it", but I will be keeping a close eye on that.

I'll like to own a Service Six, but I've never found one at a price I like. They definitely seem to have held their value well.

For revolvers only? Right now it's a double action .22 LR and Taurus bringing out a new 8 shot .22 with an Aluminum frame at under $250 new is very attractive. The .22 LCRx tho has more going for it, but at $400 new, that's a tough pill to swallow for a 3 inch barrel .22 revolver.

A 9mm revolver is getting closer to being must have, as is a 7 shot .357 with a 6 inch barrel. The idea of the Taurus 692 .357/9mm combo is growing on my every day and I'm normally against a ported revolver, but this one I'm okay with.

I do want a .45 Colt Blackhawk with a 7.5" inch barrel, but it's not a "gotta have" thing.

I want a 4-5" .357, not really sure what yet.
I also want a large frame double action .44

These are getting higher, and higher on my "list" probably have one or both this year, tho not anytime soon.

I want a 4", Colt Python. I'm bugging my LGS every other day and twice on Sunday to get one in.

Just picked up a S&W 460V which had been on "The List" for some time. Now I'm reviewing "The List" this morning, and I'm a little underwhelmed...it'll be awhile before I start trying to check off some boxes again.

I keep telling myself that I am going to make more legacy purchases from here on out. Got a couple good pocket revolvers, got a couple of cool revolvers, got a SAA .357, have a good carry .357.

I would say that I may bite on a Python in 2021.

Colt Python when rumors of lemons stop.
Anaconda if ever re-released. If not, then a SRH.

    That's about it for now.

I’m on the verge. My boat is spoken for but I haven’t yet been paid. There is a Rossi Cyclops 988 on Gunbroker. It’s overpriced, but they are rare and are awesome. If I don’t buy it I will buy another Rossi .357 and make it as good as I can. Problem is I want the long barrel and most Rossi have short tubes.
