Which one do you go for.

Think smaller than a P99.

We got KAHR, We Got Glock 27 and SIG P239. What else. Tell me your experiences.

Thanks
Chris

I'll second the S40.
But I would also reccomend the South African Republic Arms Pistol 440.

Of course I'm a little bias towards this little beauties. Just search RAP on here and you'll have several threads about them.

*edit* BTW the S40's are in CDNN's catalog (download the pdf catalog) for $339

If you have the chance, you should definitely try out a Smith & Wesson 4013 TSW.

Kahr MK40, small enough for a big pocket or boot carry. Mine's been good. not happy at all with my K40 right now, nuther long story.

Kahr P40 is too small for the .40 S&W cartridge, IMHO. It is punishing to shoot. My Glock 23 is plenty concealable and easy to shoot. Haven't tried the G27, but the G26 works great too.

I just sold an MK40 and I miss it :(

its about perfect for .40 CCW

Another option (and what I'd love to buy to replace the MK) is the STI LS40

The Steyr S40 is my other option, and cost wise probably a better choice then the LS40 (about half the money). I've got an M40 and frankly the grips are as thin as some single stack guns but its a doublestack (so with the S40 you got 10+1).

Darrin's Astra A-100 in 40. That thing is tiny compared to his old A-90....*snip*
It's an A-70. Same size as the slightly more popular A-75.

7+1 of .40. If it were stainless to resist the urge to rust, I'd almost say it's the perfect, less expensive carry .40. Oleg even commented on Saturday is was a little more accurate than his Kahr .40. Both guns are almost the same size.

Did you not shoot it, Chris? We'll have to make some arrangements for both of you to try it. I love it!

CZ is supposed to start importing a PCR/P01 size .40 S&W. Who knows when it will makeit to dealers. I think it will be called the CZ RAMI.

KelTec P40
It's a kicker. It is easy to carry. I have owned one for several years and it has worked out of the box. It has been my bicycle carry weapon for years in a fanny pack on my lower back. That could change somewhat now that I'm getting a PM9. We'll see.
