For any of you SoCal guys and gals that want to come out and shoot, the SoCal .50 Shooters will be at Angeles Range next Sunday 3/16. You don't have to own a .50, just come on out to the range and have a good time shooting. If you want to try out a .50 just ask.

The range opens at 9am but it's best to show up early to get a bench, www.angelesranges.com for directions and to get a discount ticket. We set up at the far end of the rifle range.

    That's cold D6 :(

Looking forward to it 50S. Gonna bring a rifle as well as a camera this time. Are the big dawgs allowed to hit steel? I can't imagine what a reactive target for a .50 would look like. A vault door? :D

It just seems that everything fun happens during finals.

The Long Beach motorcycle show runs during Fall quarter finals.

    D6,
Don't worry, we'll be there next month also on the 3rd Sunday. Then the next time after that will be the 3rd Sun. in June, due to a desert trip.

    Braz,
If you remember all the red plates on the range, they are for the heavier calibers. That and the 700 yard targets are a free for all, the white targets are off limits to our .50's.

    Beck,
Didn't you see the new signs at the border? "Welcome to **********, please sign in".

    No offense taken

One of the great things I have to look forward to in life is retiring from my government job here in (my native) Kalif and taking my pension with me when I move to free America.

Let the remaining Californians try to make a living suing each other and selling burgers. Serious businesses (manufacturing and selling things to bring money into the state) are leaving or already gone.

Can't make it this weekend either. Maybe next time. Good shooting.
