I need to go shooting with you guys again eventually! Lots of new toys since last time(and I'm totally broke to prove it!)
 
Greg,

Shawn and the 50 cal guys are usually at the far end of the rifle range (left side) in the early mornings.

We're usually on the far end of the pistol side (right side) near the shotgun bay from noon til' closing.
 
I probably can't make it but I'll try to get ahold of you all soon or pm/call me anytime. BM, hows that mod 36, surprised you picked up another revolver!

BB, got another Carcano recently.

BM I'm probably gonna hit up the OC sheriffs range on Friday with my new to me 22lr Ruger SP101.
 
can anyone tell me how long a drive ASR is from Camp Pen? I'd like to come but I'm not sure if my schedule will allow it.

Slinky, according to Google Maps ASR is about 106 miles from Camp Pendleton. Drive is a little less than 2 hours.
 
James! Wow, haven't heard from you in a while. I'd be GREAT if you could come this Sunday! :D

If you do have a shottie, bring it. We like busting clays at ASR (provided their thrower is working....)
 
I should have phrased that different, I know its about 100 miles but I had no clue about how that translated to time enroute. I'm new to the area and still learning about California traffic.

Sundays should be pretty traffic free.
 
Most of the guys stay until around 2ish and a couple stay longer, being Sunday most try to beat the traffic home.

I have an 870 Wingmaster now, so I'm gonna bring that plus an 8mm Mauser, my new Glock 17, a Ruger 22/45, and a CZ75B. Oh, and something to shoot .223 rem.

For those who don't know me, I'll be wearing a black T-shirt that says "Glock" on it.

I've "been here" since February. Never got around to posting anything.

You posted somewhere here a link back to a shoot in April of 06. There's a few videos left. It looks like your first match. You were still shooting a real gun, not that plastic fantastic you've got now. :)

I guess I could bring along my Garand, CZ75, and Glock 30.
I really don't want to be shooting Wolf through my M4gery at Angeles. :uhoh:
 
Well, the .50 cal shooters usually set up on the far left side of the rifles area. If you get there early enough you shouldn't have trouble finding them. Since I love to sleep in and since I also don't have a .50 cal, I'm gonna get there some time after noon and set up on the handgun/blackpowder side after paying a little visit to old friends.
