SOG P38s

I've been looking to get a P1 or P38 for awhile now and just noticed SOG has some P38s. Anyone know what kind of condition they're in? and are they worth the $540 they want? Thanks.

I don't know SOG, but I've had P38's. I looked at their web site. Where did they "just find" these guns? Nazi marked, has come to mean that they have eagle proof marks on them. (meaning gun was tested with ammo 20% over standard issue). For over $500 I'd expect a '42 or '43 marked gun with all matching serial #s, and perfect grips. If you buy one get all new springs. Save your money don't by one.

I believe the P-38's that SOG have are part of the ones that are currently being imported from Russia. They are releasing some of their captured war stocks from WWII.
