Some pics from a BBQ/Shoot this weekend...

This is the second one of these we've done with the website I run and it seems to be a hit. In the past we'd just meet up at an indoor range and kill some time, but getting outside is so much nicer. We can make a day of it; BBQ, socialize, try new stuff out, all the good stuff.

Plus since it's their machine gun range we aren't limited to just paper targets.

I think everyone had a really good time and we had a few new shooters out as well, which is always nice. One tiny mishap when scope met forehead, but other than that the worst thing was a burn from a stray piece of brass.

It's both fun and important to do events like this. It's fun and and addicting and will attract others to join in. It will produce memories in younger folks who will find themselves promoting fun days themselves.
