Always wondered... how do you photograph a single knife and show it that way? Photoshop image or double exposure??

Well, that certainly makes it a lot easier from a photography point of view. So, you have two of the same Neal knife.

You see this frequently where knives are photographed (and I think it is a single knife) showing both sides in a single photograph. Guess I'm not convinced yet from what you say.

Those are works of art and I like the left hand/right hand pairing.

Not sure what I would used such a curved blade for, but they sure are neat.

With my weight issues though someone looking at them would just accuse me of sitting on it though!

As a knife maker this makes no sense to me. yes it's cool and making them must be difficult a hell, but I'm staring at them asking myself...Why?

The build quality is excellent though. Beautiful.

So you can cut or stab anyone from around the corner and not give up your position.
But needless to say as warped as these knives are I want one.

If you had one knife that you wanted to get both sides in the photo similar to what is above... a double exposure is probably going to be the easiest. That said... I'm pretty sure those are two knives.

What are they for? Is it supposed to be more comfortable to carry? Ah! Like the Taurus Curve!

Interesting concept... As far as photos showing both sides at the same time - that's easy, just use double sided tape to secure a small free-standing mirror that you place the object you're recording in front of to show both sides at once... There was a time when I did a bit of photo work to support articles I was writing and you'd be surprised what you can accomplish with a bit of ingenuity and the way you set up your shot... Nowadays, none of the rags I used to write for can even afford to buy a single article (these were all fishing oriented pieces, I never wrote for any gun publications...). times change.

Ohhh, they're not intended to be practical. They're functional art knives for collectors.

Bob sells a dozen or two pairs and another dozen or two singles a year to eager collectors that appreciate the skill and talent they represent. His non crooked knives are beautiful as well.

What do you mean?
I see a lot of knife pictures on the forums especially by makers that show both sides of a folder in a single photograph. I just wondered how it was done from a photographer point of view. Not questioning or doubting your answer about these two knives.
