I know that the .40 S&W cartridge is relatively new. I've shot a number of semiautos chambered for this caliber. Are there any .40 S&W wheel guns out there? Thanks!

    Yes.

    S&W 646 is/was a true .40 S&W L-frame, using moon clips:

and of course the 610 N-frame can shoot .40 S&W as well as 10mm: [IMG]

    I'm pretty sure the 646 is/was an L frame, not a K frame

Sheesh! I was thinking "L," even mumbling "L" to myself, went to hit the "L" key ... and typed "K."

    Yup. It's an L-frame. :D

Sam, is that a 5" 610? I'm envious if it is. (smile)

Corner Pocket, if your interested. Charter Arms claims they are going to come out with a 40 wheel gun. Early 2010, they say. HHHUUUMMMMMM, I wonder how early

Yes, I recall having seen that Charter Arms model mentioned somewhere out there. Though I'm a newcomer to the gun scene, I've been around long enough to have seen that all announced products do not always make it to market. I guess time will tell... ;)
