Sorry....please delete this....

Tried to post a clip from Braveheart, but the forum won't take .mp3's, and the .wav is too big.....

:cuss:

Oh yes, love the movie. One of my all-time favorites. How about posting a pic of your sword? What's the quality like? I saw a few Wallace Claymores in stores, wasn't overly impressed with the quality (even though it's gonna be just a wallhanging, I like knowing that it's a real sword, not a replica.) I'm sure there are some good ones out there.

It is the highest quality reproduction of that sword available.

It is made by the same man, Fulvio Del Tin, who also made the sword used in the movie, as well as most (all?) of the other weapons used in the film.

I LOVE IT!!!

Sorry again about the clip.....was supposed to be the clip from where Wallace rides in during the first battle against the English:

"Sons Of Scotland! I am William Wallace...."

That sequence right there gives me chills every time I see it/listen to it...

Hmmm....I need a website so I can post cool stuff like that that I can't post here.....:(

Taken form the Declaration of Arbroath, 1320 (a Scottish appeal to the Pope for aid):

Yet if [Robert the Bruce] should give up what he has begun, and agree to make our kingdom subject to the King of England or the English, we should exert ourselves at once to drive him out as our enemy and a subverter of his own rights and ours, and make some other man who was well able to defend us our King; for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom – for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

It's really too bad that attitude has died out in Scotland.:(

I see you're in California. Find the Sword in the Stone in North Hollywood. Tony Swatton is one of the best, you'll see the hook from the movie "Hook" in his store, excellent work.

You'll also talk directly to him (unless things have changed).

One of these days, I'll post some of my swords/hammers/morgensterns/armor here. I don't make pretty stuff like Tony, just usable and very tough.
