Sooo, would you buy a .50 caliber AR15 ?

A fella at the range I shoot at has a 50beo, very interesting gun and round. He was nice enough to give me one of his cases for my collection. Wouldn't mind having an Encore barrel in it, but not sure how the extractor would work on that recessed rim.

7.62x39mm bolt?

can anyone verify that the beowulf uses 7.62x39 bolt face. i remeber reading it somewhere..... it was either that or the 5.45 but i dont think they make a 5.45 bolt for the ar-15

So all I can do is hold them up against each other, but the 50 Beo and the 7.62X39 look the same.
