I think Sotomayor is about as good as we can expect from Obama. In fact, I am worried about who we might get if she is not confirmed.

No one that Obama nominates will be a friend of the 2nd Amendment. At least Sotomayor does not appear to have made a priority out of her opposition to the 2nd Amendment. We could do worse, and probably will, if she is defeated.

I think it is a waste of time to oppose her. Whoever he nominates will be at least as bad, and maybe worse.
