    Hey guys,

What is a good source for surplus components? Mainly .30 bullets, but if you have a good source for any surplus components I'd like to hear about it. Thanks!

I've found that surplus .30 bullets (from gibrass.com, for instance) are not much cheaper than buying bulk bullets from some place like MidwayUSA (especially if you have a C&R/dealer discount). The real savings is in surplus powder -- compare $7.50/lb for surplus WC846 to ~$15/lb for commercial Hodgdon BL(C)-2 (it's the same stuff). In addition to the sites already mentioned, Wideners.com often has very good deals on surplus powder.

I would also recomend gibrass as a good source. I have used several of his surplus powders as well as his bullets and cases and have always been happy. I always get more than I asked for. His bullets do end up cheaper for me because he is local for me.
