So what did you end up getting Lennyjoe? I sold that SKS pretty quick, and picked up a Spyderco Spyderfly butterfly knife, and the custom ear plugs for my wife. That was it.

Final tally was;

1lb of IMR 4350
1lb of AA#9
1,000 magnum pistol primers
1,000 rifle primers
.45 ACP shellholder (dont know what the heck happened to mine)
30-06/.45 ACP Lee auto prime shell holder
100 each 150gr 30 cal bullets
100 each 130 gr Speer .270 bullets
100 150 gr Speer round nose 30 cal for 30-30
Lee case lube

Thats about it.

I drooled over them 10 series S&W pistols. He said he'd take $750 for both the 1066 and 1076. I got his card (Phoenix) and told him I would call at the end of the month. If he still has them, I might very well bring them home.

I want the 1066 the most though. Think it would make a great CCW pistol.

Buddy I was with got a Spanish bolt action .308 for $135 in pretty good shape. Stock was a little beat up but the bore and action was pretty clean.

Im gonna do some reloading tomorrow. Finally got all the pieces parts together.

BTW, the lady that was selling the powder ($16.95 for the IMR and $17.50 for the AA) wont be at the next show but gave me her card. Her and the husband will be there in April and she said to call her and she will put together an order for me. THe more I get the better the deal. So if your in need of powder let me know. I plan on putting together a list and calling her in late Feb for a bunch of powder.

That's pretty good for those two pistols, you could have the whole family of them! Looks like you got a good amount of stuff to take up your time though!

Spanish Bolt action in .308, was that the FR8 I saw a guy walking around with? Or was it at a table? Was thinking about one since I have two boxes of .308 Win and nothing to shoot it in!

I'll check my powder stock and see if I need any, I'll let you know, thanks!

Update on the old Senoita Highway area. I completely forgot about that site, since last I went, it is now off limits. Sheriff was out there soon after I started up, and said we can no longer shoot there either. But he did direct me to some missile silo like things further East on I-10 at the Empirita exit, make a right, and then left onto a dirt road. Good luck!

Holy freakin' cow... I was out there two weeks ago, Game and Fish showed up, asked us what we were shooting, we said 'nothing' and they said 'ok, have fun!'

The Empirita site is pretty small and has no good dirt backdrop! The silo itself is fun to explore, but I think it is a horribly unsafe shooting spot...
