Hi treb, I just saw your post. I'd like to shoot with some high roaders. However I work alot of weekends and something would have to be set up in advance. During the week I'll meet anybody at Blue Trail in wallingford where I have a yearly pass. They are open untill 8 or 9 on tue, wed, and Thurs.
There are a few more connecticut shooters but most of the high road seems to be in the south and west.
Conn. seems gun unfriendly so I'd like to see some fellow shooters.

During the week is bad for me unfortunately. I will probably be going to High Rock this sun.
These days I seem to make it to the range only on a whim when I have a free day. Not to many of them around though.
If you guys post a time and place I will try and make it down with my Molon Labe hat.

Rangie are you on the E&B pistol team? I was for a few years, we may know each other.
I belong to Quaker Hill, not far from E&B. We have quite the range and I'd be glad to show you around. Bowling pin range, practical pistol range, target ranges for both pistol and rifle, skeet, trap and bow.
I am a RSO and run shoots every Saturday morning. We call them ConTact matches (Concealed Tactical) and they are loosely based on IDPA guidelines…basically you practice with whatever gun/rig you would wear everyday. We use IDPA targets and scoring but don’t care if your firearm is ported or what size it is.

E&B is in Salem, indoor range only.
