The Baikal guns with a different name. I have an external hammer SxS that I use for CAS. Very slick, right out of the box.

Baikal with a different label. They're a tad more refined, too. Remington has been watching what they've been importing and branding. This means they probably are worth a bit more than the old EAA box-em-and-ship-em imports were.

The old Baikals had QA problems (way off POA, blown-out choke tubes, etc.) The SPR's seem to be good right out of the box.

They're still pretty rough (by trapshooting standards), but they're good, solid guns that work and keep working.

    Thanks

So they are just repackaged Baikals to Remington standards?
