Makarov.com with their pages on the CZ-52 provide a wonderful service, but their prices for CZ-52 pistol parts and accessories are very high. (CZ-52 mags for $26 when others sell them for $8; original firing pins for $13 when you can buy them for $6.50 on eBay.) They sell several interesting firing pins said to be made by Harrington Products. These pins are said to substanitally lighten the stiff CZ-52 trigger pull. But the prices are high. I have not been able to find any information on Harrington and no alternative source for these firing pins. Any ideas on this?

    Thanks,

I've got firing pins from Harrington, and even met the man a couple of times back in my college days. He's an inveterate tinkerer and gunsmith who knows what he's doing.

Be warned, though; installing the competition and heavy competition firing pins will disable the drop safety.

Yes, I knew about the disabling of the firing pin block. So Harrington doesn't really have a company? Makarov.com has managed to pick up some of these firing pins and is the only source? Strange.

When you order from Makarov.com shipping is included in the price. Some of the prices are competitive and others aren't.

Makarov.com could've agreed with Harrington to be his sole distruibitor. That would explain why you can't find the pins anywhere else. Try the MakarovForum for more info on where to find CZ52 parts.:)
