Specialty ammo for hog hunting?

Glad you feel you understand the whole situation, LB.

Since you feel compelled to opine on my statements, let me ask you something... do you treat your home for pests?
Ah yes, the classic attempt to change the subject away from your sickening behavior. Won't work :D

You are abhorrent. You deserve to lose your right to hunt.

Luckily it's not up to you.
:neener:
I don't know what State New-to-Savage lives in, but if he lives in Texas he's well within the law. Many other States are the same way. The law matters just a tiny bit more than some random guy on the internet trying to pass off his morals onto others.

This will really fire up the selective flames but the hog problem is still evolving.
In the west we've had a domesticated feral mammal that had been devastating habitat and consuming resources for over 50 years. Were it not for the constant gathering, confining and feeding they probably would have long ago ruined the range west of the Rockies.
They, unlike the hogs have a devoted group of lobbyists with deep pockets and a wide demographic who will stop at nothing to see that they are protected.
I hope the hogs never gain such protection.
IMO there is a lot of hypocrisy when it comes to animals and their rights and feelings, all relative to how the human views them.

LOL. If you cannot see the connection, it's only because you choose (conveniently) not to. However your unwillingness to answer my question is most likely because it will expose your own double standard. But I'm sure everyone here would love to hear your response.

BTW, I was not "hunting" when I killed those hundreds upon hundreds of feral pigs. I was removing invasive species to benefit native wildlife and preserve native ecosystems. IOW, I was helping animals. Let that one sink in. ;)

Proudly.

What's abhorrent is some people's anthropomorphism translates into a willingness to see native wildlife and natural habitat suffer at the hands (or snouts) of invasive species.

In the long run, it's "up to" the public, who will see you torturing animals to no gain, and will quite correctly shut down your hunting privileges. Of course, that will also catch a lot of perfectly responsible hunters in the policy change, but you've already made it pretty clear you have no care whatsoever about that.

Do you really think the public in Texas will find any fault with what he is doing when the state is actively encouraging strafing hogs with helicopters? You seem to forget that the state is perfectly fine with literally blowing up hogs.

The only thing you are achieving so far in this thread is proving that you are radically out of touch with the reality of the hog problem. You just don't get it.

Eerily similar to a "Sensible Gun Laws" advocate rant with no logic or reason.

When you intentionally torture animals, you make those otherwise idiotic "sensible gun law" advocates right.

I think all it takes is a few videos of people intentionally torturing animals for no reason, and public opinion is easily swayed. And you will have no one to blame but yourselves and no sympathy as the hogs eat everything in sight.

Wonder if that hog ammo works on bears

Are you in search of a mental adjudication ruling? How could hog ammunition work on bears? The only ammunition that might work on bears and hogs is Man-Bear-Pig ammo, marketed by Hornady as M-B-P XL ZombieMax Extreme.

Am I a lowlife for fishing with a trotline or trapping fur animals? Leaving the beings in pain and sometimes just containing them so some other animal kills them bite by bite (don't get me started on turtles).

Are these people that complain the ones that order milk fed veal and call the exterminator to poison unwanted animals around their house?

Sure we shouldn't harm any animal unless they are causing me harm....

My goal is to eradicate problems where they exist, I'll "solve" the problem as fast as possible but sometimes it's not instant.

I tell you one thing for sure though, I would really like to go bird hunting with all of the "one shot, one instant kill" folks.

Well Lama Bob I haven't read a single post here about people intentionally torturing animals. Just another example of your empty and sensationalist rhetoric.

I also just went on YouTube and found countless videos of people blasting away at hogs, on the ground and in the air. Since the evidence is readily available for anyone to see, your argument about people putting a stop to hog hunting is totally inane. If it was going to happen it would have.

I've not read one comment from you about being a landowner and losing significant amounts of money due to feral hog destructive behavior. Until you do not many people, if any are going to take you seriously, as well they shouldn't. Quit beating a dead horse pal.

We have met the enemy and he is us. You are such a bad boy. Trotlines? Egad! I'm never going to boil crawfish again. If you ever get down here where I live, let's have a beer.
