Material of the buffer tube, semi/full auto bolt, treated/untreated barrel, etc.

Basically, does it have anything that this gun (about the only other cheap pencil barrel AR I've seen) doesn't?

Out of curiosity what material could the buffer tube be made from besides aluminum? ive never seen anything else.

Bolt group youd likely have to find ask dpms

barrels threaded, you can see the shoulder and its got a removable flash hider.

I would bet the buffer tube is 6065 at that price point. They went 4140 on the barrel and they probably cut corners elsewhere. The barrel definitely isn't chrome lined and they would probably say if it was nitrated in the description because it is a selling point. If they aren't saying what the material is, as the case with the buffer, it's problem the cheaper material. They would want to advertise the better parts if it had them.

You can get a separate complete upper and lower from PSA right now for like $380. Read the description for the lower to make sure the buffer is 7075 and the upper barrel is CMV or states it's 4150 steel. Most of the "freedom line" uppers are either nitride or stainless. Just pin together and you are ready to go. Better parts for similar cost
