Looking for suggestions from those who have possibly tried different speed-loaders and hear the reviews of your opinion on the easiest or most reliable for the LCR .38.
    Thanks

I think HKS is easier to use, but Safariiland's is faster. I don't have experience with other makes.

BTW, what is poundage for your trigger pull?

I have a 5 star speed loader for a K6S that I really like. It drops the cartridges more smoothly than the HKS, but the manner in which it retains the cartridges allows them to rattle and be a bit noisy in the pocket or on the belt. If that would bother you then I'd pass.

    Thanks for the replies.
Im not sure about the poundage of the trigger pull.
Its a hammerless-double action, is all I know at this time.
    Thanks again.

I like the 5 star loaders. I never got the hang of using Safariland or HKS and the 5 star also pocket better for me. They're used mostly for the utility of carrying spare rounds instead of loading and I happen to like the way they jingle.

I have a couple of the HKS loaders for my .38 LCR and they work just fine. Of all of the loaders I fiddled with when I bought my LCR, I liked them the best.

    HKS is my choice too.
