FWIW,
Keiths also has a sign on the door stating "no loaded firearms except for onduty law enforcement", or to that effect anyways. So they are really no better than Sportsmans Warehouse.
I have been to Keiths a couple times, and the customer service can be really bad, or really good. Because they were rude to me once, I purchased 3 of the 4 firearms at GunBroker in Tigard, since they are much friendlier, but their selection is pretty limited. They are usually a lot less crowded as well, but have fewer staff.
The last firearm I purchased, I called around and found out that Keith's was $30-40 less for the XD compact that I wanted, and they actually stocked it, so I gave them the business, and they treated me pretty nicely.
On one hand I want to support the local store, that has good customer service and allows CCW, but on the other hand, I needed to get my hands on one to decide if I liked it or not, and some other stores just don't have the inventory.
