Spring Question

I have a full size Kimber 5" Eclipse Target II which has a 16lb spring recommendation in the manual, so I got a Wilson Combat 16lb spring. It fits pretty good, but I noticed that the new Wilson spring is +3/4" bigger than the factory Kimber spring.

Does this matter? I suppose 16lbs = 16lbs no matter how many coils.

Am I okay with the new Wilson spring though?

Yep, no problem. I prefer Wolff springs but that's just me.

If your factory spring is worn it may be compressed that far. Either way you've got a 16 lb spring so the gun will be fine.
