Hey guys, long, long time lurker, first time poster!

I need help!

I carry a M&P .40c.

I read the specs, and it seems my M&P is listed as 4.3" in height and 6.7" long.

The EMP lists as 5" high, 6.6" long.

From the pics it looks so much smaller.

Well, wife wants to carry concealed, IWB. When she wears my Smith, the grip sticks way to far our, plus the Smith is too think.

She is little lady, barely 5' and 100 lbs. She has a very womanly figure, so no little boy hips, and a bubble butt.

I am wondering if anyone here owns an EMP, and has other guns, who can take some camparison pics.

All my local gun shops stay sold out. We want to go pick one up, but I don't want to spend 1K on one, and it be too think.

She wants a frame safety. Our other option is a kahr pm9, because it comes with a frame safety, if you order it, but I have read that the recoil is very snappy. She would prefer the MK9, as it's steel, so the recoil would be lower, due to the weight.

Thanks guys.

You know you are going to get "suggestions", So let me be the first ;)
I carry exclusively ItW and even though I am a wee bit larger than your wife, I'm uncomfortable and have printing problems with anything but small and thin guns. Early this year I bought a Taurus PT709 Slim. The little pistol has been wonderful, perfectly reliable and accurate. It has a great trigger and carries like its almost not there. For your wife its slim, has the frame safety and is about one of the softest shooting small 9mm's out there. Not only that but you'll get to save lots of green going with the Taurus...got mine NIB for $365.

No comparison in size. The EMP is much thinner and easier to conceal. I wish I had both to shoot a pic of. I do have an XD SC, and while it is nice, and isn't much bigger height and length wise (if any), the EMP is much easier to carry.

Welcome to THR

She had a look see, and she did go with the Kahr.

The PM9 has a version with a thumb safety, but she likes the all steel version due to the lighter recoil.

Thanks for all the help.
