Anyone going to the Springfield Mass Antique and Modern firearms show this weekend?

I try to go whenever it comes around and I usually end buying some stuff that I will never need or use. however I did pick up a complete AR minus the lower receiver for only $400. Sherluck was the place I beleive.

Lots of complaints about the door price and the lack of good (actually good deals) But I find that I enjoy the ride up and the walk aroudn the place to look at stuff I would never buy but always wanted and stuff to laugh at the prices.

Just got back from the Big E about 1/2 hour ago.

New wrinkle they're charging for parking now. This was a major topic of a lot of guys standing in line at 8:45. Needless to say they weren't pleased.
The show is getting smaller and the deals fewer. Other than Waldrons Holsters I didn't find anything that I couldn't do better at any one of the local shops.
But your right, going up and down the aisles and viewing some of the antiques and other unusual firearms and memorabilia is a lot of fun. I really enjoy listening to the collectors when they start talking about the history of some of the stuff on their table. The education is worth more than the price of admission.
Take Care

I'll be going there in the morning,Sunday, to see what there is ..
That parking fee was started last year, said the increased security
demanded the fee..Can't see where using only one gate to get in
makes things more secure but it seens to give a few more old men part time jobs..
Is this the only show in the state ?? Use to be a few other shows
here in Western Mass. but no more.. Damn the AG and his safety
rules..
Got a S&W mod 25-9 that I will take down there to see what I can get for it.. Anybody got any quick ideas about worth ??
