Springfield XD 10MM!!!

Sorry to get you all excited, but I wanted to get your attention.

I feel that Springfield is our best bet on getting one more 10MM platform out.

I've written to SA in the past BEGGING them to produce a 10MM XD.

Can I get some help here?

Maybe, just maybe, if enough of us write in, we can get them to do it.

That's what I've been preaching since the first day I got my hands on an XD. They NEED to make a 10mm out of the .45 platform and have it hold like 16+1!!! I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

That might get me to switch from the .45 to the 10mm platform. With the recent price increases, it isn't like it would be THAT much more.

the 45 isn't quite a 10mm but www.doubletapammo.com gets us close with their hot acp loads until springfield pulls through...

An XD10 on the tactical frame would be sweet though wouldn't it!

10mm XD !!!

A 10mm XD is the only other format I would consider for the caliber. I said that the GLOCK 20 is enough, and it is very great IMHO , but I would surely buy an XD in 10mm, NO DOUBT !!! Let's petition Springfield.

I've handloaded a couple of hundred 10mm cartridges and am itching to try them out.

Problem is, I don't own a 10mm handgun.

If Springfield does make a 10mm version of the XD, I'd definitely consider it, as I currently have an XD-40 Tactical that I would never, ever part with.

(As an aside, I think the CZ 97B would also make a perfect platform for the 10mm cartridge.)

I've personally tried it... 16 rounds of 10mm wil fit comfortably in a .45 XD magazine....
