For those new to AR15's and wanting to know about Stag Arms.

So what I get from that is that he considers Stag to be the "Best of the worst" Not trying to be a jerk but that is just really how it reads.

I guess you could say that. To me, it's more like, Stag is the lowest quality AR15 I would let a friend buy.

On the variant side of things, Stag offers 2 nice models in 6.8 SPC that have a solid reputation for accuracy; a carbine w/ adjustable stock and an A2 stocked rifle.

Pro- They DO have the right chamber dimensions and twist rate for the cartridge.

Con- As noted in the link, they DO NOT have the M4 feed ramps. This comes into play even more for the 6.8 as the larger case size makes the rounds sit slightly lower in the mag and increases the probability of a feeding issue without the ramps. They are a cheap/easy fix though.
