    o.k my dad was needing a pistol for just packing around the farm,and he inherited my pa63 which my wife couldnt handle.now im a big star fan and ive had a couple good ones,but this ultrastar polymer 9mm is marked down to 200.00.neat looking pistol.seriously thinking bout it.

    Mine has been a pretty good pistol. Its well made and easy to shoot. Although, I think they should have made it a double stack magazine since the grip feels wide enough for it.

    You can still get original mags here http://www.ivanhoeoutlet.com for less than $20 but they only have six left. They are also a good company to deal with.

    I bought one of these back on the bad old Clinton ban days.

    It was an accurate reliable little pistol. It cost me a little more than $200 back then.

    Star made good stuff. I own one and every other one I've seen has been well made. I like 'em.

    I have a Firestar M45 I bought for $349 last year. I would KILL for a Ultrastar for only $200.

    firestar m40

    Picked up one of those firestar m40 in starvel, not shot it yet and just wondered what others think of that .40?

    i had a firestar m40 last year with extended pinky magazines"what a blaster,it would eat anything i fed it,also a star bm no problems.the ultrastar is going on lawaway in the morning,till i get my allowance from the wife.heh. my daughter and me both get an allowance,shes almost 16 and i just turned 38.taking my dad to the gunstore in the morning for the 1st time.

    dang it.

    the star was sold,after all this time,anyway got my dad set up with ammo for his pa63 and sks,anyway i couldnt find anything till they brought out a box of blued smith@wesson 5904"s trade ins,i had one a few years back,seemed a well built gun for 249.00 probably 85%.between it and a tz99 went with s-w.
