I'm sure it will work, but are there better choices yes. Any advantages or disadvantages that steel case ammo has, is the same regardless of what firearm it's shot in.

Agreed.
I do not feed steel cased ammunition to any firearm that I like and value. I do not have any firearms that I do not like and value.

I doubt I would own a firearm that did not feed Steel Case. I have a lot of firearms that I like, CARRY and Value and Steel case is absolutely fine for training.Never have I had any damage from any pistol I own after many years and thousands of rounds from steel case. My gosh, the money I have saved on cost could buy me a new Pistol.
The only regrets I have is the I can no longer get it shipped free to my door at $6.44 Per Box with unlimited supplies. That is a lot of saving with the high volume I shoot.
There is way too much false information and myfhs about Steel case ammo on the internet. Actually all that nonsense was dispelled years ago. Seems it sometimes still sticks around.

If a gun won’t shoot steel reliably, it doesn’t deserve brass imo. Wolf is my preferred steel cased stuff and is absolutely good to go as I stated in another thread 2 min ago.

As far as wear and tear, let me know when you wear out a barrel or break an extractor and then let me know if the cost to replace the worn part was less or more than you saved in ammo.

Using pre-panic prices, I saved roughly $20 per case on Wolf vs cheap brass 9mm. With my first case I bought a new extractor just in case this new crappy ammo destroyed my gun. It didn’t.

With .223 it was about $100 per case difference. 3k rounds and you’ve saved enough for a new barrel, gas tube, block, and extractor.

Shoot what you like, but fiscally it’s the better option if you plan on shooting regularly or in volume.

With all due respect , that statement makes no sense.
"doesn’t deserve brass" ...?

No offense taken, they’re not my words, it’s a common saying.

If a gun won’t run steel, *imo*, it’s not worth keeping and paying for brass. With any modern firearm steel cased ammo should be a non-issue.

Other than being somewhat weak, it’s perfectly reliable in my experience.
