so im looking for another handgun to ad to my collection and i was looking at something along the lines of: hi cap, polymer frame, 9mm or 40s&w, concealable and comfortable enough to carry all day, and da but still having a good trigger.

now i was almost dead set on the M&P but i just saw an ad for this STI GP6 and it really cough my eye, its DA-SA can hold 17 rounds i think, and is made by STI, and i have a sti 1911 and i love its accuracy.

anyone have hands on experience with it?
    thanks for the help

Imported by STI. It's essentially a Grand Power K100, or an updated version of the K100 or something.
I was interested in buying one about a year ago. When doing my pre-purchase research, I never encountered a bad review.

I just bought an STI GP6 about a month ago I love it. Its scary accurate and feels great. Ive put about 500 rounds through it without flaw whatsoever. My only gripe is that the front sight is not very bright, and I cant find a holster made for it otherwise I think its gonna be a keeper Ive owned Ruger SR9, Springfield XD, XDM,Taurus 840 plus others I cant recall at the moment and the GP6 is by far my favorite Hope this helps

No experience with STI, but I do have a M&P9fs and M&P 9c. I am very happy with the way they shoot and carry. I have installed the Apex sear in the full size and am thinking about the full kit int the 9c. It really improved the trigger and erased the only small issue I had with these guns.

Ive shot both and prefered GP K100, but never owned one so I cannot elaborate on reliability...

Blade-tech makes holsters for the GP6. Good ones too (if you like kydex).
