I need a modified choke and the cdnn website has beretta Mobil for $9.99 and carlsons is $36.50 is there any difference other than the price? Is carlsons better for the extra money?

Both are good chokes, but the only way to know what works best in your shotgun with the shells you are using is to try them. I would not be afraid of the less expensive choke from CDNN. Last year, I was able to pick up a full set of factory extended tubes (Ren=mington ProBore) for my gun at $9.99 each. I also have a few higher dollar chokes (Briley and Pure Gold) and the best of the lot for me is the Extended Factory IC choke. CDNN has flat rate shipping, so that $10 choke tube will likely cost you $20 when all is said and done.
