I have the grim report from Mom that in the course of moving houses someone made off with a rifle I had stored with her.

Police report (Sheriff I guess actually) has been made I will update if I get more serial numbers.

Hoods got my 1894 Winchester Carbine .30-30, serial 4686491 and apparently most of her pistols (raven .25 and a .32) don't have serials on the ravens may get those from the report when she sends it to me.

The Winchester had a scope mounted and flip up pig sights (long story) it is an old top eject purchased in 1978. Not much historical weapon territory but it was the rifle my Dad used to get his last deer many years ago.

Once I have a copy of the report I will add police/sheriff contact numbers.

It was in Kleberg County. Most likely it's now in Mexico or in a pawnshop in Dallas. grrrr.:fire::cuss:

If you see this one please call me

Yeah, unfortunately, I don't think most stolen guns end up in pawn shops. Even the idiots who steal guns know better than to try that. It'll probably get sold on the streets and end up in someone's stash. Maybe you'll get lucky and it'll turn up in a drug raid or something. You probably shouldn't get your hopes up about getting it back. Hope you do, though.
