Here's an open invitation to THR members:
If you happen to be in my neck of the woods, for business, pleasure, whatever, let's try to get together and say "Hi" in person. If you're going to be in Cincinnati, send me a PM and we'll se if we can meet up. If the schedule won't work, I'll be honest and tell you so.
I feel like I know many of you from my addiction to this board. I see locations all over the country and the world, some of which I've been to, some not yet. I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable or threaten your anonymity. I travel occasionally on business and usually have to eat alone and spend the evening in front of the tube. I think it would be great to meet people who share a common interest - other members of the gun culture. Networking is a good thing - even for those whose general philosophy in life is that they just want to be left alone.
Want to shoot? Sure! Want to shoot the breeze? Fine! I don't want to invade anyone's family time and I won't let you invade mine. But I'd be happy to spare you 10 minute, lunch, dinner, whatever. Who knows, maybe it will turn into the "Skunkabilly North American Tour 2003." (I get the T-shirt vending rights!)
What do you think? Mods, if you think this would threaten THR in any way, kill this thread immediately. Anybody else willing to make an open invitation?
