Straight 8 sights

Had them on a pt111 ... hated the sights from the start. I always had to think about them, while blank sights and 3-dot sights line up automatically when I focus on the front sight.
The pt111 was supposed to be MrsBFD's CCW pistol, she never took a liking to the sights or ergonomics either, and I knew someone who really liked it, needed a 9mm pistol, and wanted to make a trade, so I dumped it ... the first gun to leave this household's possession ever ... it was a strange moment ... but never having to look at those enigmatic two circles, and try to stack them just right until I remember to ignore them and use the 3 posts as if they were blank made up for it.

Not I. I do not like straight 8 sights. Don't understand who could have ever thought they were such a wonderful idea. And can't understand that some member of management went along with the idea and put them into production. I just don't get it!!
