Sorting brass tonight and came across this unusual Speer 9mm case. Anyone seen this before? Specially made for James Bond?:D

Not James Bond ammo.
Thats the special Speer ammo they sell for robbing inner-city 7-11 Stores with yo-NINE.

See, it's got the ski mask eye-holes and the 7-11 name on it! :what:

Never mind.
I have no idea!

no, it's american

but sold to the french ;)

and that ammo was possibly rejected and never actually sold to the french

but most likely it was factory overrun

Gotcha. One is brass and one is nickel plated as well. This is the kind of stuff that my wife cannot believe I find interesting!

Yeah, French National Police Contract with Speer. Mine (lot 041-10) came in an Independence-brand box loaded with 115-gr FMJ. Obviously overrun or reject cases used.

I have found several hundred at the local range in the past couple months. They might be using whatever brass is on hand already for production to keep up with the demand here in the US.:D None of the plated here as of yet though.

I've seen it too!!! I've had this picture of it of a while, never got around to posting it

The piece of brass is still sitting on my shelf from a year ago
