A friend who is buying a gun for the first tie questioned what was meant by "feeling comfortable"when going somewhere without a gun.
I've reverted to wording I remember from the Smith & Wesson forum from decades ago.
"If there is anywhere where you would not choose to go without a gun"....
Still subjective, but calibrated with a clear meaning.
