If you want the best, get a Foxpro. Johnny Stewart PM-4 is actually a fantastic caller for a second choice and is only like 150 to 180 bucks. I always thought the Johnny Stewart WIRELESS PM-4 Preymaster was the best call inside of 200 bucks; but that was before Foxpro entered the "affordable" market. Now you can get a Foxpro Spitfire with remote and 24 sounds for $199.95; You'll have a hard time beating Foxpro. You can go with the affordable Spitfire; or spend 100 more bucks and at $300; you can get the Foxpro Wildfire and you'll gain a more deluxe TX9 remote instead of a basic remote; and you'll get 35 sounds plus Foxbang technology built in. or for a top-notch caller; go just 20 bucks above your 400 limit; and buy a Foxpro Firestorm which is loaded with features like dual speakers, 50 Sounds; and the deluxe TX9 remote. But I really think the Wildfire is a lot for your money. You get Foxbang technology which changes to your next preset sound sequence when a gunshot is detected. You get an awesome remote, and 35 sounds. Buy it from allpredatorcalls.com; and you get to pick the 35 sounds and even have them arranged in the order you want. Plus, with Foxpro; you can plug your caller into your computer and download new sounds anytime. I just downloaded 8 new sounds that I purchased for only 15 bucks. I own both the Foxpro FX3 which is like the Firestorm, and the Johnny Stewart PM-4. The Johnny Stewart is a good caller with a good remote and really nice digital sounds; but you have to buy sound cards for 20 bucks and you only get 4 sounds on each one. The caller only holds 12 sounds, and you cannot download sounds; instead, you have to switch sound cards; switching 4 sounds at a time which you may not want to switch but one or two; but you have no control over it because each card has 4 sounds. A lot of people gripe about 12 sounds not being that many; but it actually is plenty for any predator hunt I've ever been on; you can switch cards easy for the next hunt, or even the next calling session. In my Opinion, Johnny Stewart has some of the best sounds on the market. They have digital rabbit distress sounds that really make Coyotes respond in my experience; I just always though they had an awesome sound library with awesome sound quality. But if I was going to point you to a "late & great" caller, I'd recommend the Foxpro Wildfire. For $299.95 it's a lot of caller for your money. I am confident you would be tickled to death with your purchase; once you receive it. Hope this was helpful.
