The running shouldn't be terrible, unlike in winter biathlon, you don't carry the rifle while running.

But no one has any info on one?

That would be a bummer. I thought the origin of biathlon was a competition to test patrol/scout skills? Not carrying the rifle seems like it would defeat the purpose.

I've been interested in something like that here in Mi but haven't found an organized event either. In summer, I think an obstacle course/shooting biathlon would be a great test of skill!
