The biggest gathering of super accurate rifles and world's top accuracy experts are at the annual benchrest SuperShoot, held May 21-24. A good time to come and watch and learn will be May 17-20 (This coming weekend) when rifles and ammo are being tuned by some 300 of they world's top marksmen, rifle builders and reloading experts. It's held at Kelbly's Rifles range in north central Ohio. (Akron area) google Kelbly's Rifles for directions. Be sure to bring plenty of cash because there are accuracy accessories and gadgets there you can't find anywhere else. If you're within driving distance it's well worth the trip. I'll be there.

Yeah, there are always conflicts. Except the SuperShoot has been held on same weekend (Prior to Memorial Day) for over 40 years. Perhaps
Snipershide organizers should become more cognizant of long held schedules and traditions in the shooting world and try to join in.

I would love to go to a SuperShoot one day.

Add to bucket list: Go to SuperShoot and get whupped by the best.

Hmm, I have already been whooped by the best a time or two, it just wasn't at the SuperShoot... :D

Yea, there will be all kinds of cool accessories there, as well as folks who like to talk accuracy/guns/wind/shooting all day.

I'll make it one day. :)

Here is one of the highlights of SuperShoot last week, fired by Bullet Maker Allen Arnett, a beautifully centered five shots fired at 200 yards on a windy day. Group measures .098!!! I talked to Allen later and he said he was adjusting his point of aim for ever shot because of constantly switching wind. This was in the Light Varmint class, max weight for rifle and scope is only 10.5 lbs.

That's definitely a keeper, and to shoot it in conditions that are changing makes it all the more sweet. It is very satisfying when you have to keep holding off in different ways, but then put them all in there anyway.
